Graphic Design: Live with Ryan Hammond

What makes some things look amazing and others look ordinary? In this episode of the Moving Projects webcast, design research/communications specialist Ryan Hammond discusses the art of graphic design.

This webcast originally aired on Thursday, January 22, at 8:00 PM EST. You can watch it right here.

Who is Ryan?

Ryan Hammond is a designer hailing from west of Baltimore and working for Rust Valley Design Co. in the great midwest. That’s Kent, Ohio, to be specific—where he’s also pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree and teaching as an instructor at the School of Visual Communication Design at Kent State University. Previously, he attended Grove City College, graduating with a BA in Communication Studies and serving as Vice President of The Society of Communication and Arts. He is very fortunate to work and learn with people that encourage him to explore new ways of approaching his discipline, and has especially enjoyed opportunities to design brand identity for clients that are passionate about their work. Other interests include root beer, patriotism, bad jokes, and playing guitar at his church.
